These chains can decrease the trash coming into the corn head by upwards of 40%! By operating with 6-lugs, rather than the normal 8-lugs, we are able to increase the window between lugs by 25%. Giving the stalk rolls more time to do their job - suck the trash down. This 6-lug chain acts similarly to a slow-down kit, but rather than having to the drive sprockets, idler sprockets, and chains - a farmer can get by with just purchasing chains. Thus offering a more cost-effective way to decrease trash - and increase yield. These chains are the best "bang for your buck" on the market AND they are CHROME pinned, offering a longer life than most other aftermarket chains!
