Why “Landbouw”?

“Landbouw” is the Dutch word for agriculture—a nod to our roots here in Rock Valley, Iowa, and the farming heritage that built our company and community. It’s also a word that reflects how we think: hardworking, honest, and grounded.

We design, manufacture, and distribute high-quality agricultural products built to withstand the demands of the field. Our capabilities include:

The History of Landbouw™

Founded on a vision of innovation, hard work, and dedication to quality, VH MFG, Inc. began its journey in 2003 with a mission to provide dependable manufacturing solutions for the agricultural industry. What started as a modest shop has since grown into a trusted name in rotational molding, steel fabrication, and aftermarket agricultural parts.

Humble Beginnings

VH MFG, Inc. was born from a clear need: farmers were tired of unreliable replacement parts and long lead times. With hands-on manufacturing experience and a deep respect for the ag community, the company set out to build products that performed better and lasted longer.

Growth Through Innovation

Early success came from a strong commitment to quality and a willingness to invest in better processes. Over time, the company expanded its capabilities to include:

In 2025, VH MFG, Inc. took a bold step forward—rebranding its operations under the name Landbouw™.

“Landbouw,” the Dutch word for agriculture, honors the company’s heritage and hometown of Rock Valley, Iowa, while better reflecting its modern vision and growing product lines.

Though the name has changed, the ownership, team, facility, and commitment to excellence remain exactly the same.

Today, Landbouw­™ manufactures a wide range of products—from Landbouw™ Heads (formerly Clarke Corn Heads) to POLYTIN™ aftermarket parts, custom plastic molds, and fabricated components. With customers across the country, the company continues to invest in people, equipment, and innovation.
