Landbouw 48116083-N is an aftermarket inner crop-divider snout designed for select Case IH® corn heads using OEM crop divider 48116083. It also replaces the earlier 84518884 and 47468213 crop-divider numbers.
Whether you call it an inner crop divider, center snout, divider snout or poly hood, this is the molded red body positioned between the row units. It helps lift and guide standing or down corn toward the gathering chains while maintaining smooth crop flow through the head.
Molded from UV-Protected LLDPE
This crop-divider snout is molded from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) with UV-protected red colorant incorporated into the material.
LLDPE provides the flexibility and impact tolerance needed in demanding harvest conditions. Because the color is molded into the plastic rather than painted onto the surface, there is no painted finish to chip, peel or wear away. The UV-protected colorant also helps protect the snout’s appearance during prolonged outdoor and seasonal exposure.
